|
This featured NatuReef® aquarium is a 380 gallon reef tank. The tank was originally set up in 1998. The tank belongs to Larry and Debbie Frank of Boynton Beach.
System information is as follows:
Lighting - 3- 400 watt 10k metal halide bulbs, several 2' VHO florescent tubes.
Skimmer - Downdraft type heavy duty skimmer.
Wet Dry Filter - Custom made NatuReef brand sump and denitrifier.
Water Replacement System - NatuReef®s automated freshwater make up system. This system consists of an electrical water level switch connected to an RO filter with a solenoid valve. This system maintains the water level in the sump automatically.

Calcium Additions - In addition to a Calcium reactor Larry uses hardness Plus and Alkalinity Plus two part solutions. Calcium concentration is maintained above 400 ppm.

Larry's tank has lots of rather large fish for a reef tank. Don't be fooled by the reflection in the glass. |
