The 5th featured NatuReef® aquarium is a 180 gallon reef tank. The owner is Steve Pressman of Florida. His tank holds 235 lbs. of live rock and was established Feb-March 1997.
Under the hood Steve has a Chevy 440 Rocket with twin overhead cam and a super turbo charged ...oh wait wrong hood.
Behind the mica door Steve has:
Venturi Ult Skimmer 6X24, Ultrazone 360 ozone, 1 NatuReef CDX-1 Denitrator, a Halide pendant, 2 super blue actinics, and 2 reeflites 36" 95w, 2 x 802 powerheads on opposite sides of this pentagon shape tank. steve adds Iodide, Calcium, and Strontium.
Steve like many of us has had to battle the dreaded ich. On this subject he says, "everything can be perfect and you might still have a disease problem what we need is supports groups for this problem..."
In the tank now, he has a Wrasse Bass, Yellow tang, Blue tang, Sailfin tang, 2 Neon Gobys, 2 Percula Clowns, 1 Golden Head Sleeper, 1 Lighting Wrasse, 1 Red Coris Wrasse, a 2 spot Cardinal Fish (who ate 2 small cleaner shrimp - a $24 dinner), a Coral Banded shrimp pair, 2 large Cleaner shrimp, Blue spot goby and 4 black striped yellow Bar Jacks.
In the coral department:
A very Large Elegant, Yellow Scroll, a five finger Fine Grape, a Torch, Assorted Brain corals, a small Bubble, a couple of Moons, a fire (plate), a Sunflower, Xenia, Some Button Polyps, Orange Finger gorgonian, Purple Sea Plume, Sea Fan, Several assorted Mushrooms, A Green Leather, and some others he just forgot the name of.
